Jennifer Copeland has been a Yoga and Buddhist Meditation practitioner for over 15 years. She holds a graduate degree in Nursing and has held a variety of nursing roles, most prominently at The Hospital for Sick Children and at Women’s College Hospital. At Sick Kids, she worked with the critically ill and at Women’s College, with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Jennifer is trained in a variety of Yoga styles including Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, Kids and Yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda.  She is a graduate of the Nalanda Institute’s Contemplative Psychotherapy Program and Yoga & Psyche – Where Somatic Experiencing Meets Yoga. Jennifer is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a specialized therapy for working with trauma and has a private psychotherapy practice in North Toronto. Jennifer offers weekly yoga groups and an annual Silent Yoga & Meditation Retreat. The next retreat is scheduled for October 19th – 23rd, 2018.
