Jennifer Copeland has been a Yoga and Buddhist Meditation practitioner for over 15 years. She holds a graduate degree in Nursing and has worked with critically ill children and their families at The Hospital for Sick Children, as a Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Nurse Examiner at Women’s College Hospital and a reproductive and women’s health nurse at community clinics in Toronto and New York. Jennifer is trained in a variety of Yoga styles including Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, Kids and Yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda.  She is a graduate of the Nalanda Institute’s Contemplative Psychotherapy Program and Yoga & Psyche – Where Somatic Experiencing Meets Yoga. Jennifer is currently training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a gold standard therapy for working with trauma. She teaches weekly yoga groups and offers Mindfulness and Compassion-Based Trauma Therapy at two locations in North Toronto. Jennifer has participated in numerous Silent Retreats and is offering one in Caledon, Ontario in October 2017.
